What happens if we decide not to participate in the Support Subscription plan?
While the Support Subscription in not mandatory, it represents a great value for our customers. Not only does it cover phone and email support, it also provides program updates which include new features and the inevitable bug fix. Our software updates keep your software current with the newest State, Local and Federal rules and regulations as they change. In other words Fiscalsoft® software never stops evolving and improving. Not being covered by our Support Subscription would be like buying a new car and never having it routinely serviced. Eventually the car will not function as needed and the cost of fixing it will be much greater than if you would have done the routine maintenance from the start.
In the case of the Fiscalsoft Support Subscription, if someone decides to not participate and skips the support payment they will no longer receive phone or e-mail support and program updates will be stopped. If the Support Subscription is not paid you will become a non-active customer and will be required to re-license all the software in order to get your software to our current version levels. You will also need to pay for the Support Subscription for the next year or portion thereof to cover you to the end of the current fiscal year.
The Fiscalsoft® Support Subscription fees are due each year no later than June 30, if payment is not received by June 30 non-active status will apply and re-licensing the software will be required.

Why are sample budget and financial reports not included with these evaluation materials you sent me?
To save paper. Fiscalsoft® is an Internet Company. Most of the important sample reports and forms are available on our product web pages, in the form of downloadable, Internet Document Standard, PDF files (The free Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to open these files). You can also see each program’s menus and data entry windows at each web page. Click on any of the product links to display that products information. Sample reports and forms are arranged in tables at the top of each web page. You can open and print sample reports from your own computer with an Internet connection. Of course, you can also enter data into any of our evaluation programs and print reports using your own information!

What happens if we use your demo, enter quite a bit of actual financial information, and then register the program and pay the license fee. Will we have to reenter all the information we put into the evaluation database?
No, you will not need to reenter anything. Once you register your program by paying the license fee, we will email you with a link to download the registered version of the software. After you install the registered program, you will be able to access the data you entered in the demo.

If we pay the license fee, will someone from your company come to our offices for training?
While we do provide on-site training, it is $160.00 per hour plus $1.00 per mile for travel. Over the years, we have found that on-site training is a waste of everyone's time, and your money, phones calls and other interuptions abound in the Fiscal Court offices and that can't be avoided. Our municipal customers have been brought “up to speed” in a timely manner by simply utilizing the support services (telephone and email) we provide with each product.
